Executable / Compiled releases
jGnash can be downloaded from the download page
Generally, it is best to stay with the Stable releases.
Testing versions are available under the Pre Release package.
Two types of files are available for download from the Stable releases.
- exe
- jar
The exe files are for Windows platforms only. The exe is a wrapper around a jar file. It integrates better with the Windows desktop.
The jar file is for all platforms. On a Windows platform, double clicking the file will automatically launch jGnash on a properly configured system.
